Using a Cocker Spaniel at stud is a service, not a purchase: you pay a fee rather than buying the dog, and it is usually settled at the time of mating. For this breed, ask to see BVA hip scores, an annual eye test, and DNA results for FN, PRA-prcd and AMS, along with Kennel Club registration papers.
