Barney received “Very Highly Commended” in his class at Crufts 2023. He competed in the BASC Working Gundog Labrador Retriever – Best Dog class. The class comprised 44 entries and he essentially came 5th. This was his first ever competition and we are delighted with the results. Barney was impeccably well behaved throughout the day and took a very busy environment in his stride.
With regard to Barney’s background, Barney was a very easy dog to train and now a valuable member of our picking up team throughout the shooting season. He has a great hunt drive and fantastic nose for game.
Barney is a very loving dog, obedient and great with children. He is a pleasure to be around.
Barney is a proven stud dog, having thrown regular litters of between 8-10 pups.
Barney has been successful with AI so I can also organise this along with progesterone testing so you will know the best time to mate, this is through a qualified third party.
